Aska Trails
Biking information in the Chattahoochee National Forest. The Aska Trails Area is a 17-mile hiking-mountain biking trail system in the National Forest near Deep Gap on Aska Road in Blue Ridge. Trails range from one to 5.5 miles and vary in difficulty. Trails climb to 3,200 feet with views of mountain ridges and descend to the shores of Lake Blue Ridge. A hiker can expect to hike through forested areas with mature hardwoods and thickets of mountain laurel and rhododendron. Scenic Drives and Off Road Trails
Beasley Knob OHV Area
A great place to go four wheeling, Beasley Knob OHV Area is located a few miles east of Blairsville, Georgia in the Chattahoochee National Forest. The OHV area contains 10.6 miles of trails suitable for 4-wheel drive vehicles, ATV’s and motorcycles. Some of the trails are fairly easy, though most of the trails are difficult, with several that are extremely difficult. When the area is damp or wet (such as after a recent rain), the difficulty on all the trails goes up significantly. Wet trails make for extremely slick conditions on these steep trails. Beasley Knob is closed for the winter season from early January through mid or late March. The area may also close briefly during or after strong rains. Call 706-745-6928 for directions or maps.

Davenport Mountain OHV Trail
Davenport Mountain OHV Trails is located 12 miles west of Blairsville, Georgia in the Chattahoochee National Forest. The OHV trail is 5.9 miles in length and is suitable for most ATV’s and motorcycles. The trail loops around Davenport Mountain and is basically a easy trail along the shoreline of Nottely Lake. Although the trail is fairly easy there is a section that is more difficult. This area is closed from January 1 through March 31 for resource protection during the wet and freezing months of the year, when the most impact from use can occur. Please use caution during rainy weather as this can impact the difficulty of the trail. Call 706-745-6928 for directions or maps.

Ocoee Scenic Byway
The Ocoee Scenic Byway on Highway 64 in eastern Tennessee’s Polk County was the first designated National Forest Scenic Byway in the United States. This 26 mile two lane road trip connects what’s referred to locally as Upper and Lower Polk County. The Ocoee Scenic Byway is made up of two parts. The first part of the scenic route is along Highway 64. This 19-mile course follows most of the Old Copper Road thru the Ocoee River Gorge then continues along the shores of Ocoee Lake. The second part of the trip is just off Highway 64 on FR77, a 7-miles drive up Chilhowee Mountain will take you to views that can’t be missed.
